Growth Engine Enterprises LLC (“The Growth Engine,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides executive and leadership coaching services, delivered in person, virtually, and through The Growth Engine mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices available to you.

By using our website, our mobile application, or our coaching services, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

Information you give us

  • Account and contact information — your name, email address, and mobile phone number.
  • Coaching content — goals, notes, assignments, frameworks, reflections, uploaded photos and video, and other material you create or share as part of your coaching engagement.
  • Scheduling information — session dates, times, formats, and locations.
  • Correspondence — messages you send us by email, text, or through the application.

Information collected automatically

  • Device and usage information — device type, operating system, application version, and the dates and times you use the application.
  • Push notification identifiers — a device token used solely to deliver notifications you have enabled.

We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18 years of age.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To deliver coaching services and operate your account.
  • To schedule sessions and send confirmations, calendar invitations, reminders, and changes.
  • To send assignments, materials, and follow-ups related to your engagement.
  • To respond to your questions and provide support.
  • To maintain the security, integrity, and proper functioning of our systems.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

3. Text Messaging (SMS) and Mobile Information

We do not sell, rent, lease, or share your mobile phone number, SMS opt-in information, or consent data with third parties, affiliates, or lead generation companies for any purpose. Mobile information and opt-in data are never shared with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.

If you provide your mobile number and consent to receive text messages, we may send you messages relating to your coaching engagement — including session scheduling and reminders, assignments, and program updates.

How consent is obtained

We send text messages only to individuals who have expressly opted in to receive them. Consent is obtained through one or more of the following methods:

  • Checking an unchecked opt-in box that appears alongside a request for your mobile number, on our website or within our application.
  • Providing your mobile number and agreeing to receive text messages during coaching onboarding or intake.
  • Sending us a text message request directly.

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any product or service. We do not obtain consent through third parties, and we do not accept or use consent obtained by any other business, affiliate, or lead generator.

Opting out

You may cancel text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. You will receive a single confirmation message and will not receive further texts from us unless you opt in again.

For assistance, reply HELP to any message, or email us at [email protected].

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

4. Email and Push Notifications

We send email relating to your coaching engagement, including scheduling confirmations, reminders, assignments, and program updates. You may opt out of non-essential email at any time using the unsubscribe link in any message, or by emailing [email protected]. We may still send you transactional messages necessary to deliver services you have requested, such as a confirmation of a session you scheduled.

Push notifications are sent only if you enable them. You may disable them at any time in your device settings.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

We share information only in these limited circumstances:

  • Service providers. We use vendors who process information on our behalf and only on our instructions — including cloud hosting and database services, email delivery, text message delivery, push notification delivery, and file storage. These providers are bound by contract to protect your information and may not use it for their own purposes.
  • Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of The Growth Engine, our clients, or others.
  • Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will provide notice before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
  • With your direction. We share information with others when you ask us to.

Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party or affiliate, and are excluded from all of the sharing described above except where disclosure is required by law.

6. Confidentiality of Coaching Content

Material you create or share in the course of coaching — including notes, assignments, reflections, and session content — is treated as confidential and is used solely to deliver coaching services to you. We do not disclose it to your employer, colleagues, or any other party without your direction, except where disclosure is required by law.

7. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active and for as long as needed to provide services, resolve disputes, and comply with our legal obligations. You may request deletion of your information as described below.

8. Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls limiting who can view your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Choices and Rights

You may, at any time:

  • Access, correct, or update your account information.
  • Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Request deletion of your personal information.
  • Opt out of text messages by replying STOP.
  • Opt out of non-essential email using the unsubscribe link.
  • Disable push notifications in your device settings.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable law, including the right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used, and the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising those rights. To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.

10. Third-Party Links

Our website and application may contain links to sites we do not operate. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, and we encourage you to review their policies.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. If we make material changes, we will provide additional notice, such as by email or through the application.
